We hope they will become a valuable area to you, and one that you will come back to again and again !

When we first got some web-space, we wanted to have an area that would be somewhere where we could gather information about parenting, and where we could share it with others. We want this to be your area for this, as much as it is ours. We hope to share with you our knowledge, gained from "on the job experience", research, and advice from others. We hope that you too, will want to share your knowledge, and we welcome all information passed on to us. If you have particular knowledge in any field of parenting, or caring for children, and would like to write a document on it, we would love to include it in the Resource Area, so that we all can increase our knowledge in all aspects of this complicated subject !

We also know that parenting can be a lot of fun, so while trying to give good advice, with sound medical footings, we try to put this across in a friendly, amusing way. We feel that some problems can be difficult to face, and sometimes it is better to laugh at them, rather than to cry.

We have also got three chat rooms on the Virgin Net ISP Chat Server, and have some pages to cover them. When we first asked Virgin for a Chat room, #mothers_meeting , it was due to the fact that we found it difficult to find an area to chat on the net, that was based on a respectable server. They liked the idea so much, that as well as setting up the room with great speed, they also wanted US to start a club for parents, that would be part of their own on-line web-site !

This has recently started, and most of our efforts to providing a service to parents is through The Parents CLUB, on the Virgin Net ISP. It may be worthwhile for you to pop along there sometime, and have a look around. There maybe something there for you !

Also, after requests, we have a room for dads to chat in, called #Dads_den .
